Hello people. I'd much appreciate a price ckeck on an early 90's(?) JD 950, Yanmar diesel, 2WD, 873hrs, 75 loader, new 5' hog, rear blade & stone rake for $10,000. One owner, used mostly for snow removal and driveway maintainence. Thanks.

The 950 was in production from '78 to '89, so hard to be an early '90's model.If it is an '89, the price ranges from $8500 - 10,200. Looks like the prices drop about $700 for each year older. The extra equipment is not included... ....

Thanks. I'll speak to the owner, not his son, next time! The tractor is in real nice condition, so it appears to be a good deal, with the implements. What's the PTO HP? I can't find any info on it (on the 'net). I have 83 acres...need to maintain ~20 acres of fallow field and ~1.5 miles of trails, move logs (6" or so) and snow, etc....nothing big. I'm concerned that it would be eventually limiting, though, because once I have a machine, I'd have to play! I'd appreciate any info you have. Thanks. ....

If the tractor appears to have been well kept - buy it. The issue more often than not is that there are a lot of abused machinesout there in the used market. If you have found something that fits how you will keep your, go for it. That doesn't seem like a bad price, considering the equipmentthat is with it. ....

Sonds kind of high for a 2wd. tractor is definately older than 90's.4wd would be 11000-12900 for same. Up here in nortern new england, its hard to get good money for 2wd compacts. I just sold a 1050 4wd, ps, low hours, loader like new for 12900. have another one coming in cab, & snowblower, loader for 11800 Jim ....
